Powr-Flite Backpack Vacuums

I once had an opportunity to vacuum 40,000 square feet of carpet for the US Olympic Gymnastics Convention in San Jose. Fortunately, I had a couple good friends help me out for that weekend. Unfortunately, I was just starting out and had only a couple Hoover upright vacuums to get the job done. Needless to say, it took two people about six hours to vacuum the San Jose Convention Center floor. Had I known about backpack vacuums, the job would have went a lot smoother and quicker. Shortly after that experience, I purchased my first backpack vacuum cleaner. It was a Powr-Flite BP6S Comfort Pro Backpack Vacuum with 6 quart Capacity. I opted for the smaller 6-quart version with the idea of expansion in mind. If I hired some one smaller than myself, they would need a backpack that would fit. Besides, if the fit was better, it would be ergonomic, and the likelihood of a worker’s comp claim would decrease. The disadvantage of the 6-quart, however, is that you must frequently change the bag. Besides the Comfort Pro’s actual comfort, it had tremendous suction.
